And, as I haven't posted anything on this blog yet... I'm in Germany all summer, doing structural biology research at the University of Wurzburg. In my spare time here, I watch soccer games, and go to different cities looking at old buildings. And I eat a lot of nutella and candy. Gummy bears were invented here!

An ode to anglicismi

Which are english words intermixed with italian-- they prove very entertaining.

There is the autogrill, or a dance show called Shopping Time. They make looking at advertisements very entertaining. Especially when you hear Italians try and pronounce it.

I have extremely spotty wireless right now, so pictures a bit later, but suffice it to say Milano is awesome! It is raining, but I've managed to see the vast majority of highlights in the city itself.

I leave for Siena in a few days....More shenanigans to occur.
